On our way to Bèze, we saw Easter displays in every town. The one in Poncey-les-Athée was a little out-of-the-ordinary.
To entertain the children, the town put up carrots – big and small – and an assortment of Easter eggs.
To entertain the adults, the town put up two bunny rabbits doing, well, what bunny rabbits do.
I can imagine that some parents back home would be aghast at such a display – especially in a park put there to entertain children. For parents in Poncey-les-Athée, it probably provided some much-needed relief from life under Covid.
