We moored in Rully for the night – well, as close to Rully as we could get. We watched a hotel barge ($1,000 Cdn per night per person) squeeze by and then began the 2.5 kilometre walk to the town and Restaurant Le Vendangerot.
The walk must have made us very hungry – even after that large and delicious lunch in Fragnes-la-Loyère. So hungry I forgot to take any photos. Nothing of the exterior. Nor the Menu board. Nor what we had. If you’re curious to see what the restaurant is like (and if it you think it was worth the long hike), you can check it out on Google Maps or TripAdvisor.
We stayed late, ate well, and watched dusk turn to dark as we walked back to Aleau.
